Zoe - God’s life living in you. The way to a victorious life!

I first learned about Zoë in my first RHEMA Bible College correspondence course. I was studying healing.  Chapter 11 of “Christ the Healer” by F. F. Bosworth, teaches about the fullness of God’s life lived in us.

 There are four Greek words in the New Testament translated “life.”

One means “manner of life,” another means “human life” and another “behavior”, but the Greek work for the kind of life that Jesus brought is Zoë. This is translated “eternal life” and the “Life of God.” “Eternal Life” is the actual life of the “Eternal One Himself.” Zoe is used in the New Testament 130 times.

John 10:10 tells us that man (mankind) was to have, the right to an abundance of a new kind of life, “God’s own Life.” It is new only in the sense of human possession. Zoe lives it’s self. That all encompassing the Life of God. Paul prayed for Spirit filled Christians that “they might be filled with the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:19

 Zoe is essentially “More of God,” “More of Jesus.” That “Closer Walk With THEE. “

Continually living closer to God, through Christ Jesus can and should be the main thing in life that truly matters. All other things of life will be blessed (fall into place) and we will be more than conquers, transformed into the image of “Christ’s Glory” spirit, soul and body.

By filling us with His own Life, God Himself becomes our life, our peace, our righteousness, our purity, our strength and our health. He becomes the Preserver of “our whole spirit, soul and body, our zeal, our joy and our faith. Through His life, He is our Guide, our Teacher, our Satisfaction and “everything that pertains to life and godliness.” 2 Peter 1:3
